This event is open to carers residing in or caring for a person in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
When: Wednesday 21 May, 5:30pm-6:30pm
About the event: This is an information session for those caring for a child or young person with ASN in Edinburgh and Midlothian. Join this session to find out how Enable can support children and young people with ASN to connect with their community and travel independently.
Enable Communities deliver a weekly, Inclusive Youth Group in Edinburgh for young people aged 8-18 with ASN. The group is inclusive for all individuals who identify as ASN, no diagnosis is required.
The sessions explore:
- Independent travel skills
- Building confidence
- Developing friendships
- Campaigning skills
- Being involved in your local community
