When: Monday 19 May, 1pm – 2pm

About the event: This session will talk you through the reasons why it is important to make a will and demonstrate how to do it using the Bequeathed Wills for Good Service.

Writing a will is the only way your wishes are met after you’re gone. It’s a last chance to remember people and causes you cared about in life, and can help to take away some stress for family members at an already difficult time. VOCAL has partnered with Bequeathed to enable you and your family members to create a will for free. This short workshop will guide you through the process and answer any questions you might have.

Delivered by: David Roberts is the Head of Charity Engagement at Bequeathed. Bequeathed helps thousands of people safely make their will online every year.

Hello! I’m Jenny, The Cold Water Therapist – Wild Swimming Guide, Qualified Cold Water Therapist, STA Open Water Safety holder, Stress Reduction Practitioner and Mental Health Trainer (and survivor!).
The past few years have been tough. A combination of hugely stressful events led to one almighty burnout in December 2020. I felt completely broken, beyond repair. My brain was in utter overdrive, and I could barely function. Then I found the magic of cold water. My first dip silenced the brain chatter and I realised I had found a way out – a means of control. I now work to share the many benefits of cold water therapy and outdoor swimming – whether it’s fun and adventure you crave or a mindful self-care practice.
